Google Fiber Coming to Austin

The Texas capitol is getting a huge boost in embracing the technology of the future! Google announced last week that Google Fiber, the company’s gigabit Internet service and digital cable package, is coming to Austin in 2014. Google Fiber provides customers with broadband Internet speeds of one gigabit per second, roughly 100 times faster than the average U.S. connection! Llano, Texas Celebrates Broadband Success!

The City of Llano, Texas is celebrating new access to broadband Internet service! It’s a success that no one appreciates more than Jim Beasley. Beasley is the Director of Technology for the Llano Independent School District.
